1. Product Description

The multi-stage industrial drying system for heavy metal concentrates and tailings is a customized continuous drying solution designed for heavy metal concentrates, mineral tailings and high-density metal-containing mineral materials. The system adopts multi-stage series drying layout, which is composed of feeding equipment, pre-drying unit, main drying section, waste heat recovery assembly, exhaust gas purification device and automatic control platform. Targeting the characteristics of heavy metal materials such as high density, easy sedimentation and possible harmful dust, the system achieves gradual dehydration through staged temperature control. It can stably adjust the final moisture of materials to meet the requirements of smelting, briquetting, stockpiling and transportation. It is widely used in non-ferrous metal concentrators, metallurgical processing plants and tailings resource utilization projects.

2. Working Principle

Wet heavy metal concentrates or tailings are delivered to the first-stage pre-drying unit. Low-temperature hot air removes free surface moisture to avoid material caking in the subsequent process. Materials then enter the main drying stage for deep dehydration with controlled high-temperature airflow. Gradual heat exchange prevents local overheating and material dusting. Water vapor and dust-laden waste gas generated in each stage are collected in a closed pipeline. Part of the waste heat is recycled into the front drying section to reduce energy consumption. Exhaust gas is sent to the dust removal and purification system before discharge. Materials reaching the qualified moisture standard are discharged sequentially, and unqualified materials can be circulated back for secondary drying. The whole system runs under negative pressure to prevent heavy metal dust leakage.
