Flat Steel is a solid hot-rolled section steel with a rectangular cross-section. Flat Steel is an indispensable basic profile in hardware steel structure and infrastructure engineering. Flat Steel has rich product categories, mainly divided into Hot Rolled Flat Steel and Galvanized Flat Steel. 3. Specification Parameters
The conventional width of Flat Steel is 12mm-200mm, and the conventional thickness is 3mm-20mm, with complete specifications covering all conventional construction needs. Hot Rolled Flat Steel has complete conventional sizes, supporting customized rolling of non-standard width and thickness to meet various special-shaped processing needs. Galvanized Flat Steel adopts national standard standard sizes with uniform galvanized layer and no missing plating, and the size error is strictly controlled within the national standard range. Fixed lengths: 5.8m, 6m, 9m, 11.8m, 12m. Custom length cutting and fixed-length processing are available with on-demand cutting service.
4. Surface Treatment
- Hot-rolled black: Original surface of Hot Rolled Flat Steel without additional processing, low cost and dense material, suitable for indoor steel structures, equipment processing, embedded parts and other scenarios.
- Hot-dip galvanized: Deep-processed Galvanized Flat Steel with strong coating adhesion, corrosion resistance, rust resistance, acid and alkali resistance and wind and rain erosion resistance, suitable for outdoor, power, municipal, seaside and high-corrosion environments.
- Flat Steel supports personalized customized processing such as painting, derusting, polishing, punching, bending and cutting.
5. Main Applications
Flat Steel is widely used in building steel structures, mechanical equipment bases, guardrail production, shelf processing, curtain wall accessories, engineering embedded parts, bridge supporting components, hardware product processing and other fields. Hot Rolled Flat Steel is mostly used in indoor load-bearing structures, mechanical accessories, steel structure reinforcement, mold bases and other conventional working conditions. Galvanized Flat Steel focuses on outdoor anti-corrosion scenarios, often used for power grounding, photovoltaic supports, municipal guardrails, garden steel structures, outdoor curtain wall keels and marine engineering supporting components.
