Washing Pump Performance Test Machine
I. Product Overview
The Washer Pump Comprehensive Performance Test Bench is a specialised, bespoke testing device developed for vehicle-mounted washer pumps, washing machine washer pumps and micro-washer pumps for cleaning systems. It is widely compatible with products such as DC washer pumps, brushless washer pumps, passenger car windscreen wiper washer pumps and household appliance cleaning pumps. The equipment utilises a closed-loop water circulation piping system, combined with a high-precision sensor acquisition system and a servo flow regulation mechanism. Relying on an industrial PC and PLC-based automated control system, it enables the comprehensive, one-stop testing of all parameters, including the hydraulic performance, electrical characteristics, speed fluctuations, temperature rise during endurance testing, and seal leakage of the wash pumps. The equipment fully accounts for the operational characteristics of washer pumps—including low flow rates, low-pressure conditions and frequent start-stop cycles—optimising measurement accuracy at low speeds and minute flow rates. It supports both static pressure endurance testing and dynamic variable-condition testing modes, automatically generating performance curves, storing test data and exporting test reports. It is suitable for new product R&D and calibration, full factory quality inspections, batch consistency spot checks and reliability verification by washing pump manufacturers, and serves as standardised quality inspection equipment for the washing pump industry.
II. Core Test Items
1. Hydraulic Performance Testing Measures flow rate, head, inlet and outlet pressures, and pressure differential; automatically plots flow-head (Q-H), flow-power (Q-P) and flow-efficiency (Q-η) characteristic curves; supports fixed-point steady-state testing and continuous variable-flow sweep testing to simulate the actual water-spraying operating conditions of washing pumps.
2. Electrical Performance Testing Measures operating voltage, operating current, input power and power factor; measures electrical parameters under no-load and rated load conditions; captures start-up and stop-up inrush currents; and verifies the pump’s operational stability across different voltage ranges.
3. Speed and Dynamic Performance Testing: Monitors pump shaft speed and speed fluctuation coefficient in real time; tests operational continuity under frequent start-stop conditions; assesses speed stability during voltage fluctuations; and identifies common faults such as failure to deliver water at low voltage and speed drift.
4. Temperature Rise and Durability/Reliability Testing: Supports long-term continuous cyclic durability testing, with multi-point data acquisition of temperature rises in the pump body and drive windings; simulates intermittent start-stop cycling conditions to verify the long-term thermal stability of the washing pump. 5. Sealing and Pressure Resistance Testing: Enables static hydrostatic pressure tests on the pump body to detect leakage at the casing and connection points, and to verify the reliability of the sealing structure.
III. Core Advantages of the Equipment
1. Suitable for small-scale washing pump applications with excellent measurement accuracy: The piping structure and data acquisition algorithms have been optimised to address the low-flow, low-pressure operating characteristics of washing pumps, minimising measurement errors caused by air bubbles in the piping and flow disturbances. This enables precise detection of minute changes in flow rate and pressure, resolving the issue of significant fluctuations in test data for small pumps.
2. Closed-loop water circulation design for lower operating costs. The entire pipework utilises a sealed water circulation system, allowing the test medium to be reused. Equipped with filters and pressure-stabilising buffer components, it ensures a steady water flow and reduces medium wastage, making it suitable for prolonged batch testing operations in factories.
3. Dual-mode loading to meet R&D and mass production requirements. Supports both static and dynamic loading modes. Static mode is used for pump body pressure resistance and seal integrity testing; whilst dynamic mode simulates actual variable-load spray conditions, meeting the requirements for dynamic characteristic calibration during R&D and routine performance testing on production lines.
4. Fully automated testing process to enhance quality inspection efficiency. Once the test specimen is clamped in place, the entire testing process can be initiated with a single button press. The system automatically adjusts valves, collects various parameters, plots performance curves, evaluates test results, saves data and generates reports, thereby reducing manual intervention and minimising human error in readings.
5. Universal modular fixtures for easy changeover. Equipped with standardised, adjustable mounting bases and multi-size quick-change couplings, the system can rapidly adapt to wash pumps with different interface sizes and mounting configurations. A single set of equipment is compatible with testing multiple product models, reducing redundant investment.
IV. Scope of Application
Suitable for manufacturers, R&D laboratories and quality control departments specialising in automotive windscreen wiper wash pumps, washing machine wash pumps, floor sweeper wash pumps and various types of miniature DC wash pumps. Primarily used for new product performance R&D and calibration, factory performance testing, batch sampling inspections, endurance and service life testing, and seal process validation.
V. Delivery and After-Sales Service
The equipment supports bespoke customisation, with measurement ranges and functions adjustable according to the customer’s wash pump parameters and testing standards. The supplier provides on-site installation and commissioning, as well as hands-on training for operators; a complete set of technical drawings and operating manuals is supplied in both hard copy and electronic formats. The entire unit comes with a one-year free warranty and lifetime maintenance service; upon notification of a fault, we respond promptly, prioritising remote guidance to resolve issues and ensure the continuous operation of production line testing.
