The Oil Pump Comprehensive Performance Test Bench is an integrated, specialised testing system developed for various types of industrial oil pumps, automotive oil pumps and hydraulic oil pumps. It is fully compatible with a wide range of pump types, including variable-displacement hydraulic pumps, gear pumps, plunger pumps, fuel injection pumps, electronic oil pumps and engine oil pumps. The equipment is designed in strict accordance with the performance testing standards of the oil pump industry. It employs a closed-loop hydraulic circulation system, high-precision pressure and flow acquisition modules, and a servo-controlled speed regulation and loading mechanism, integrated with a fully automated measurement and control system comprising a PLC and an industrial computer.

The equipment enables comprehensive, one-stop performance testing of oil pumps, covering pressure characteristics, flow characteristics, volumetric efficiency, overall efficiency, torque and power, temperature rise and endurance, seal pressure resistance, and variable displacement regulation characteristics. 1. Pressure-Flow Performance Testing

Tests the outlet pressure, return pressure, real-time flow rate and flow fluctuations of the oil pump under no-load, rated and peak operating conditions; performs full-range pressure gradient sweep testing; plots P-Q pressure-flow characteristic curves; verifies the pump’s pressure stabilisation capability and output linearity; and identifies defects such as pressure instability, insufficient flow and abnormal pressure relief.

2. Efficiency Performance Testing

Precisely measures input power, output shaft power, volumetric efficiency, mechanical efficiency and overall efficiency of the unit; calculates efficiency decay curves under different pressure and speed conditions, providing accurate data support for product structural optimisation, process upgrades and energy efficiency benchmarking.

3. Variable Displacement and Control Characteristics Testing

For variable-displacement piston pumps and variable-displacement hydraulic pumps, test pressure cut-off values, flow variation characteristics, constant-power regulation characteristics and pressure regulation response speed to verify the sensitivity and control stability of the pump’s variable displacement mechanism, thereby meeting the calibration requirements for hydraulic pump R&D.

4. Electrical and Power Performance Testing

Collect data on drive voltage, operating current, input power, power factor and speed fluctuations; Test the stability of the oil pump during high- and low-speed operation, as well as its start-stop characteristics under full load, whilst capturing parameters under transient shock conditions, to facilitate electrical control matching tests for electric oil pumps and electronically controlled oil pumps.

5. Sealing and Pressure Resistance Performance Testing

Conduct static pressure resistance tests on the pump body, seal leakage tests and pressure retention stability tests to detect leaks at the pump body, oil seals and joint locations, thereby verifying the overall sealing process and pressure resistance capacity of the oil pump.

6. Temperature Rise and Durability/Reliability Testing

Supports continuous operation under rated conditions for extended periods, as well as durability cycle testing with alternating high- and low-pressure loads; real-time multi-point monitoring of oil temperature and pump body temperature changes to verify the oil pump’s long-term thermal stability, fatigue reliability and service life.
