An Anthracite Coal Dryer for Clean Coal Production is a specialized, high-performance thermal drying system designed to remove moisture from high-rank anthracite coal (including washed anthracite, coal fines, and filter cakes). Since clean anthracite is prized for its high fixed carbon and ultra-low volatility, precise moisture reduction is essential to maximize heat value, ensure clean combustion, and prepare the material for high-value industrial applications.
Working Principle
Material Feeding & Agitation: Wet anthracite coal enters the drying chamber (e.g., rotary drum or triple-pass dryer), where specialized flighting lifts and disperses the dense coal to maximize surface contact.
Controlled Thermal Evaporation: Heated gas or dry air passes through the coal stream. The high fixed carbon structure permits efficient moisture removal while maintaining strict process temperature control.
Product Recovery & Dust Control: The dried anthracite is discharged, while airborne anthracite fines are completely captured by high-efficiency cyclones and baghouse filters to maximize product yield and prevent dust pollution.
