I. Product Introduction NBR (Nitrile Butadiene Rubber) insulation board, also known as NBR nitrile sponge board, is made of nitrile rubber PVC polymer materials through high-temperature closed-cell foaming, and belongs to flexible thermal insulation materials. It is available in three types: plain board adhesive, self-adhesive type, and aluminum foil laminated type. It features B1-grade flame retardancy and B2-grade flame retardancy, is waterproof and moisture-, soft and easy to cut, and is widely used for central air conditioning ducts, water supply and drainage pipes, rooftop sunrooms, equipment water tank insulation and soundproofing, as as home decoration and general engineering. II. Distinction of Three Mainstream Types Plain NBR Board (For large-scale industrial construction) No built-in adhesive layer affordable price, suitable for full-surface installation on air ducts and roofs. It is paired with insulation glue during construction, making it the preferred choice for bulk engineering procurement. Self-adhesive N Board (For convenient home use) Features a high-viscosity pressure-sensitive adhesive on the back. Simply peel off the release paper and stick it directly. It saves time and effort for water pipes, partial walls, and small equipment, making it highly recommended for home use. Aluminum Foil Laminated NBR Board (For sun protection and vapor barrier) surface is laminated with an aluminum foil layer to block moisture and reflect sunlight. It is specifically designed for outdoor roofs, outdoor pipes, and sunroom roofs, effectively preventing condensation and aging III. Core Product Advantages Closed-cell structure, strong insulation and anti-condensation effect The internal independent closed bubbles have a low thermal conductivity, isolating heat exchange. Wrapping cold pipes prevents condensation dripping on the pipe walls, and hot water pipes reduce heat loss. Waterproof, moisture-proof, and non-absorbent The closed pores prevent water seepage It does not absorb water or grow mold during long-term use in basements, humid machine rooms, or outdoor environments, outperforming glass wool and rock wool. B1/B flame retardancy, self-extinguishing when removed from fire With added flame retardants, it does not easily sustain combustion when exposed to fire and produces no large dripping materials, meeting for central air conditioning and fire protection engineering. Soft and easy to process, simple construction The flexible texture can be bent freely and cut with a utility knife, adapting to pipes,, and irregularly shaped equipment, with a firm bond that is not prone to cracking. Sound insulation, vibration damping, and noise reduction The sponge foaming structure can absorb water flow and equipment mechanical noise. Wrapping downpipes significantly reduces the noise of flushing water. Environmentally friendly and aging-resistant, long service life Formaldehyde-free and dust-, it does not breed insects or ants. It is UV-resistant and withstands high and low temperatures, remaining intact without powdering for over a decade of indoor and outdoor use IV.
