I. Product Introduction Flexible graphite tape, also known as expanded graphite tape or graphite roll material, is made by chemically intercal natural flake graphite and expanding it at high temperatures to produce expanded graphite, which is then rolled into a tape-shaped sealing substrate. It is divided into two main categories: pure nonmetallic graphite tape and 304 stainless steel wire reinforced graphite tape. It is a universal raw material for industrial high-temperature and high-pressure sealing, suitable for cutting gaskets, packing, and filling flange valve gaps. II. Distinction Between Two Mainstream Materials 1. Pure Non-Metallic Graphite Tape Without steel wire interlayer, it is soft, to cut, and has good thermal conductivity. It is suitable for low-pressure, non-abrasive static sealing, clean working conditions, and food/light chemical equipment. 2 304 Stainless Steel Wire Reinforced Graphite Tape (Engineering Best-Seller) Internally reinforced with woven stainless steel mesh, its tensile strength is significantly improved, making it to breakage, high pressure, and wear. It is the preferred choice for boilers, valves, pump bodies, and high-temperature pipelines, suitable for both dynamic and static sealing.III. Core Product Advantages Ultra High-Temperature Resistance Temperature range: -200°C to 650°C. It does not carbonize or harden during-term use in open flames, boilers, steam pipelines, and high-temperature equipment. Corrosion Resistance and Leak-Proof Resistant to acids, alkalis, oils,, and chemical media. It is not easily eroded by media, provides tight sealing, and prevents leaks. Self-Lubricating and Wear-Resistant Graphite itself self-lubricating properties. Reciprocating friction on pump shafts and valve stems is unlikely to cause wear, and its service life far exceeds that of asbestos and PTFE sealing materials Flexible and Easy to Process The texture is flexible and bendable, with widths that can be cut freely. Thermal Conductivity and Vibration Damping It has excellent thermal conductivity and can also be used as a heat dissipation buffer equipment, reducing thermal deformation and leakage of high-temperature components.
