Steel billet is a semi-finished steel product after smelting and serves as the basic raw material for rolling and forging. It is formed by continuous casting process with compact texture, uniform material composition and low internal impurities. 2. Product Classification and Production Process

2.1 Continuous Casting Square Billet

Formed by fully automatic continuous casting, it features regular cross-section, good surface quality and dense internal structure without shrinkage, porosity, cracks and other defects. With high yield rate and excellent cost performance, it is the mainstream general-purpose steel billet in the market, mainly used for rolling various profiles, bars and structural parts.

2.2 Continuous Casting Rectangular Billet

With a rectangular cross-section, it is suitable for rolling steel plates and wide profiles. It features stable shape and uniform deformation, ideal for mass deep processing. It is commonly used as the primary blank for medium and heavy plates, strip steel and large steel structure materials.

2.3 Round Billet

Continuous casting billet with circular cross-section, specially applied for hot-rolled round steel, seamless steel pipes and forging blanks. It has high concentricity and uniform structure, meeting the processing requirements of high-precision mechanical parts and high-strength alloy steel.

2.4 Forged Steel Billet

Custom-produced for high-strength and high-toughness products. After forging and densification treatment, the internal grains are refined, and the mechanical properties are far superior to ordinary continuous casting billets. It is suitable for high-end fields such as heavy machinery, wind power equipment, pressure vessels and high-end molds.

3. Main Material Grades

3.1 Carbon Structural Steel Billet

Q235B, Q355B: Highly versatile with good toughness and excellent weldability and cost performance. Suitable for building structures, ordinary profiles, embedded parts and general mechanical processing parts.

3.2 High-quality Carbon Steel Billet

20#, 45#: High material purity and uniform structure, suitable for deep processing such as quenching and tempering. Mainly used for blanks of shafts, gears, fasteners and precision mechanical parts.

3.3 Alloy Steel Billet

40Cr, 42CrMo, 20CrMnTi: Stable alloy composition with high strength, wear resistance, fatigue resistance and high temperature resistance. Applied in heavy industry equipment, hydraulic parts, transmission components and high-end forgings.

4. Specification Parameters

Square Billet Specifications: Conventional sizes include 100×100mm, 120×120mm, 130×130mm, 150×150mm, 165×165mm, 180×180mm, 200×200mm with complete stock availability.

Rectangular Billet Specifications: 160×220mm, 180×240mm, 200×260mm and other customized sizes are available.

Round Billet Specifications: φ80mm–φ350mm, covering full-size requirements for conventional rolling and forging production.

Standard Length: 6m, 9m, 12m. Custom fixed-length cutting, short-size processing and arbitrary cutting services are supported.
