It's specifically designed for infrared detection equipment used in industrial gases such as VOCs and methane. Utilizing a precise multilayer infrared dielectric coating process, the filter precisely locks its center wavelength at 9.8 microns, achieving a peak transmittance of over 85% within its passband. With a band cut-off depth OD≥3, it effectively blocks visible light, near-infrared, and other stray infrared sources, suppressing environmental interference and significantly enhancing the sensor's signal-to-noise ratio.
