- Working mechanism and manufacturing process: The round bars are smelted by electric arc furnace or AOD refining. After continuous casting into billets, they are hot-rolled or forged through multiple passes, and then undergo quenching and tempering heat treatment (quenching + high-temperature tempering) to obtain tempered martensite structure. The low-carbon design reduces the precipitation of carbides in the matrix. Combined with the solid solution strengthening of Ni and Mo elements, it not only ensures high strength and hardness but also avoids the brittleness of traditional martensitic steels caused by high carbon content. The final products are delivered in black skin, polished or turned states, and can be precision cut (such as sawing, wire cutting) to the specified length according to customer requirements.

- Excellent combination of mechanical properties: The tensile strength can reach 800 - 1000 MPa, the yield strength is ≥650 MPa, the elongation is ≥15%, the reduction of area is ≥45%, and the impact energy (V-notch) is ≥60 J (-20℃). It still maintains good toughness at -40℃, meeting the requirements of low-temperature working conditions.
- Breakthrough in corrosion resistance: Due to containing ≥3.5% Ni and ≥0.3% Mo, its pitting and crevice corrosion resistance is better than that of ordinary martensitic steels. It performs reliably in environments containing chlorine, hydrogen sulfide, and marine atmosphere, with a wide pH value adaptation range (3 - 10).
- Excellent welding performance: Low carbon equivalent (CE ≤ 0.65). No preheating is required before welding or only low-temperature preheating is needed. No immediate heat treatment is required after welding, which can simplify the manufacturing process and reduce the risk of welding cracks. It is recommended to use homogeneous welding wires or nickel-based alloy welding wires.
- Wide processing adaptability: It can undergo conventional machining processes such as turning, milling, drilling, and tapping, as well as hot forging and hot bending for forming. The surface can be treated by pickling, passivation, polishing, etc. to obtain a mirror or matte effect.
