Basic Information
SNF-C full name is sodium naphthalene sulfonate formaldehyde condensate, generally named SNF-C superplasticizer or powder SNF-C concrete dispersant in construction chemical industry. We supply two regular grades of SNF-C, SNF-C with sodium sulfate ≤18% low-salt type and economical SNF-C with sodium sulfate ≤23%. Both grades are light brown fine powder and fully soluble in cold water. As air-free high-performance naphthalene-based superplasticizer, SNF-C owns strong dispersion effect on cement particles, compatible with all Portland cement, fly ash and slag powder. Dry mortar factories, precast component plants and cast-in-place construction sites all purchase SNF-C in bulk. Low-salt 18% SNF-C fits high-durability projects with strict steel anti-corrosion requirements, while 23% SNF-C features cost advantage for mass civil concrete works. Both two types of SNF-C can be compounded into finished admixtures, which are essential powder raw materials for building material industry.
Product Overview
SNF-C powder is air-entrainment-free high-efficiency solid superplasticizer. 18% SNF-C and 23% SNF-C only differ in sodium sulfate content with stable and consistent core water reducing & dispersing performance. Adding SNF-C can sharply cut mixing water consumption, raise initial slump and early strength of concrete. SNF-C brings excellent workability, small dosage helps reduce cement consumption and production cost. SNF-C has stable physical and chemical property, anti-caking during storage and great compatibility to compound with retarder and early strength agent. Clients can select 18% SNF-C or 23% SNF-C according to budget and engineering standards, widely applied in all cement-based building material production.
Main Features
High water reduction & obvious early strength: The water reduction rate of SNF-C reaches 15%-25%. Under fixed water-cement ratio, it greatly improves concrete strength and shortens curing & demolding time. Both 18% SNF-C and 23% SNF-C deliver steady early strength performance.
Two optional grades for different demands: SNF-C provides low-salt grade (Na₂SO₄≤18%) and economical grade (Na₂SO₄≤23%). 18% SNF-C has low salt content to avoid salt precipitation and protect steel bars; 23% SNF-C owns lower unit price for large civil construction projects.
Fast dissolving & easy storage: SNF-C powder is loose and fine, dissolves quickly in cold water without sediment, hard to agglomerate under sealed normal temperature storage. Solid SNF-C will not freeze during transportation and storage.
Wide application compatibility: SNF-C will not generate excessive air bubbles or damage concrete compactness. It matches ordinary cement, composite cement and various mineral admixtures perfectly with strong construction adaptability.
Usage
Dry mixed mortar production: Mix SNF-C (18% or 23%) evenly with cement and quartz sand powder, add water and stir on construction site to improve mortar fluidity.
Precast concrete components: Feed SNF-C into mixing station to reduce mixing water, boost compactness and demolding efficiency. 18% SNF-C is preferred for high-standard engineering.
Cast-in-place civil concrete: 23% SNF-C is adopted for common ground and road projects to lower cement dosage and improve pumping workability.
Admixture compounding factory: Dissolve SNF-C to compound with retarder and defoamer to produce composite concrete admixture liquid.
