1. Product Introduction
A 150 TPH Double Roller Crusher System is an industrial-grade, medium-to-high capacity processing line designed to handle 150 tons of material per hour. Utilizing two heavy-duty, counter-rotating rollers, this system is a staple in coal processing, mining, cement, and power plants. It is highly optimized for the secondary, tertiary, or fine crushing of medium-hard materials such as coal, coke, soft limestone, slag, and shale.
2. Working Principle
Feeding: Raw material enters the system and drops evenly into the crushing chamber directly above the rollers.
Compression: Two rollers rotate toward each other at high pressure, pulling the material into the "nip area" and crushing it primarily through mechanical compression and shear forces.
Discharge: Once the material is smaller than the preset gap between the rollers, it falls out through the bottom via gravity.
Safety Reset: If an uncrushable object (like tramp iron) enters, a hydraulic or spring-loaded safety system allows one roller to retract, letting the object pass without damaging the machine before resetting automatically.
