The dehydration process of the shell mud dehydration equipment is divided into four important stages: pre-treatment, gravity dehydration, pre-pressure dehydration in the wedge area, and press dehydration. Process of the small shell powder mud dehydrator:
After the concentrated shell mud is fully mixed with a certain concentration of flocculant in the static and dynamic mixers, the tiny solid particles in the mud coagulate into large flocculent lumps, and free water is separated at the same time.
The flocculated shell mud is transported to the filter belt for concentrated gravity dehydration. Under the action of gravity, free water is separated, forming non-flowing shell mud. Then it is clamped between the upper and lower mesh belts. Under the action of gradually increasing pressure and shear force in the wedge pre-pressure area, low-pressure area, and high-pressure area, the shell mud is gradually squeezed to achieve a high degree of separation of mud and water, and the shell filter cake is discharged.
II. Application scope of the small shell powder mud dehydrator
Small shell powder mud dehydrator is suitable for the dehydration of mixed sludge, digested sludge, and excess activated sludge produced by urban sewage; it is also widely used for the dehydration of various types of sludge produced in industries such as gold extraction, mining, chemical papermaking, printing and dyeing, leather, electroplating, brewing, coal, and sugar production. It has a better dehydration effect especially on activated sludge, gold extraction sludge, flotation, concentrates, and tailings (coal).
3. The working process of Small Shell Powder Sludge Dewatering Machine
After the sludge is fully mixed and reacted with the coagulant, it flows into the feed distributor of the concentration section. The sludge is evenly distributed on the inclined concentration section. Under the bidirectional guiding of the mud rake and the action of gravity, the sludge quickly removes the free water as the filter belt rotates. After gravity dewatering, the concentrated sludge is conveyed to the gravity dewatering section of the belt filter press by the reversing mechanism for further dewatering. Then it is fed into the "S"-shaped pressing section. In the "S"-shaped pressing section, the sludge is sandwiched between the upper and lower filter cloths. After being repeatedly pressed by several rollers with different calibers, the sludge is dewatered again. Finally, the cake is scraped off by the scraper, and the upper and lower nets are continuously and automatically cleaned during the operation.
4. Technical characteristics of Small Shell Powder Sludge Dewatering Machine
1. It is mainly used for the treatment of non - concentrated sludge, with the dual functions of concentration and dewatering, saving civil engineering investment. If it is used for the dewatering of concentrated sludge, the treatment capacity is significantly improved compared with simple pressing dewatering, and the dewatering effect is better;
2. Different pore filter belts are used for the concentration section and the pressing section respectively, and different linear speeds are adopted, which optimizes the solid - liquid separation time.
3. The filtrate can be used to wash the filter belt, saving the operating cost.
4. The equipment runs continuously with stepless speed regulation.
5. The filter belt is automatically corrected (using pneumatic feedback single - side automatic correction), the filter belt is pneumatically tensioned, and the tension is automatically adjusted.
