Cast Steel Pipe – Detailed Product Description
1. Product Definition
Centrifugal cast steel pipe is formed by pouring molten steel into a rotating mould under centrifugal force. It features dense metallurgical structure, weldless integrity, and can be integrally formed into complex structural parts. It is specially suitable for thick-wall, large-diameter, high-temperature, high-pressure and anti-corrosion working conditions.
2. Production Process (Centrifugal Casting)
Melting & Batching: Raw steel scrap, chromium, nickel, molybdenum and other alloy elements are proportioned and melted in an electric furnace at 1500–1600℃.
Centrifugal Pouring (Core Process): The mould rotates at high speed of 500–1500 rpm; molten steel is poured evenly and adheres closely to the mould wall under centrifugal force. Solidification proceeds from outside to inside, with air bubbles and inclusions gathered inward and removed effectively.
Heat Treatment: Normalizing, annealing, normalizing & tempering, or solution aging treatment to eliminate internal stress, refine grain structure, and improve high-temperature strength and creep resistance.
Post Processing: Fixed-length cutting, shot blasting & surface cleaning, non-destructive testing (UT/MT/RT), internal & external precision turning, and anti-rust & anti-corrosion treatment.

Carbon Steel / Low Alloy Steel: ZG270-500, ZG310-570, SCW490-CFApplication: Construction, low-pressure fluid delivery, structural support.
Chromium-Molybdenum Heat-Resistant Steel: ZG15CrMo, ZG12Cr1MoV, SCPH21/32-CFApplication: Boiler and steam pipeline service at 500–600℃.
High Nickel-Chromium Austenitic Heat-Resistant Steel: ZG40Cr25Ni20Si2, ZG8Cr26Ni4Mn3NRe, HK40, HP40-NbApplication: Petrochemical cracking furnace, heating furnace tube under 850–1100℃ long-term service.

8. Quality Inspection
Chemical composition: Spectral analysis before furnace & finished product re-inspection.
Mechanical test: Tensile test, impact test and hardness test (HB/HRC).
Non-destructive testing: Ultrasonic Testing (UT), Magnetic Particle Testing (MT), Radiographic Testing (RT).
Dimensional inspection: Outer diameter, wall thickness, ovality, total length and end face verticality.
Surface quality: Free from cracks, air holes, slag inclusions and sand sticking defects.
9. Packaging & Delivery
Packaging: Pipe ends sealed, wrapped with anti-rust film, bundled with steel strips or packed in wooden cases.
Delivery Time: 7–15 working days for standard specifications.
Quality Documents: Material certificate, heat batch report, NDT report and dimensional inspection record.
