(I) Common Materials and Grades

This product adopts high-quality carbon structural steel, and the core grades are divided into the following categories to adapt to different working conditions:

  • Q235 Series: Low carbon steel with moderate strength, good plasticity and toughness, easy to process and weld. It is mainly used for general structural parts and low-pressure fluid transportation (such as water supply and drainage, ordinary gas transportation). It has high cost performance and is the most widely used material.

  • Q355 Series: Medium carbon steel with higher strength than Q235 and strong bearing capacity. It is suitable for medium and low pressure fluid transportation, mechanical structures, building supports and other scenarios that have certain requirements on strength.

  • ASTM A53, API 5L: American standard materials, suitable for export and international projects. Corrosion resistance and pressure resistance meet international standards, and they are used in high-end fluid transportation scenarios such as petroleum and natural gas.

(II) Core Performance Indicators

  • Mechanical Performance: Tensile strength ≥ 375MPa, yield strength ≥ 235MPa, elongation ≥ 25%. It can bear a certain impact load, is not easy to break, and is suitable for long-term use.

  • Corrosion Resistance: The original black pipe has basic corrosion resistance. After galvanizing, painting, anti-corrosion coating treatment, it can effectively resist moisture, acid and alkali, atmospheric corrosion and extend service life.

IV. Production Process

This series of carbon steel pipes adopt mature production processes, strictly control each process to ensure stable product quality. The specific processes are as follows:

  1. Raw Material Screening: Select high-quality carbon structural steel billets that meet the standards, conduct component testing to ensure that the material meets the standards, and eliminate impurities, cracks and other defects.

  2. Heating Treatment: Send the steel billet into the heating furnace, control the temperature at 1000-1200℃ to make it reach a plastic state, preparing for subsequent processing.

  3. Forming Processing: Select the corresponding process according to the product type - seamless pipes adopt cold drawing or hot rolling process, forming hollow tubes through mold stretching and rolling; welded pipes adopt electric resistance welding (ERW) or spiral submerged arc welding (SSAW), roll the steel plate into tubes and then weld them into shape. The welding joints are tested by flaw detection to ensure no slag inclusion or air holes.

  4. Cooling Treatment: Send the formed steel pipe into the cooling pool, adopt natural cooling or forced cooling, control the cooling speed to avoid pipe deformation and cracking.

  5. Finishing Processing: Straighten, cut, thread, bevel and other treatments on the cooled steel pipe to ensure that the dimensional accuracy and surface flatness meet the standards.

  6. Surface Treatment: According to customer needs, perform black pipe rust prevention, galvanizing, painting, anti-corrosion coating and other treatments to improve corrosion resistance.

  7. Quality Inspection: Conduct appearance inspection, dimensional inspection, mechanical performance inspection and flaw detection on the finished steel pipes. Unqualified products are all eliminated to ensure that 100% of the delivered products meet the standards.
