VI. Operation, Maintenance, Care, and Precautions 1. All valves undergo strength and sealing tests before leaving tory; during use, all connections must be maintained in their initial state. 2. The operating handwheel of this series of valves is marked with opening and closing rotation indicators, an rising stem type is equipped with an opening and closing height scale for adjustment and indication. 3. When welding the valve to the pipeline, the valve should be opened, and the nebe protected with a damp material to minimize heat conduction and prevent damage to the sealing packing. 4. It is strictly prohibited to use a lever when closing the valve. When thete closes to ***, the handwheel should be rotated back 1/2 turn to keep the gate in a floating state. 5. During use, a fixed amount of lubricating gse should be injected into the valve bonnet grease fitting regularly. 6. During use, if leakage occurs due to wear parts, they should be replaced in a timely manner. 7. Duringmaintenance, the internal cavity should be cleaned thoroughly, and lubricating grease should be applied to all transmission parts during assembly. 8. During storage and disuse, the gate shoul kept in the closed position. For long-term storage, the valve should be placed in a ventilated and dry area, and regular inspection and maintenance should be performed.
