The Shuangli cross-linked polyethylene insulated power cables are manufactured according to the national standard GB/T 2706-2008 or the International Electrotechnical Commission (IEC) 6052, as well as standards such as BS, DIN, AS, NZS, and ANS. The products are suitable for laying in power transmission and distribution lines with a rated voltage of (U0/U) 0.6/1 KV and below. Usage instructions: The allowable long-term working temperature of the 1 KV cable core is 90℃.
Shuangli cross-linked polyethylene insulated cables have four major properties:
1. Heat resistance performance: XLPE with a network three-dimensional structure has excellent heat resistance performance. It will not decompose or carbonize below 300℃, and the long-term working temperature can reach 90℃, with a thermal service life of up to 40 years.
2. Insulation performance: XLPE retains the original good insulation characteristics of PE, and the insulation resistance is further increased. Its dielectric loss tangent value is very small and is not greatly affected by temperature.
3. Mechanical properties: Due to the establishment of new chemical bonds between macromolecules, the hardness, stiffness, wear resistance, and impact resistance of XLPE are all improved, thus making up for the shortcoming that PE is prone to cracking due to environmental stress.
4. Chemical resistance properties: XLPE has strong resistance to acids, alkalis, and oils. Its combustion products are mainly water and carbon dioxide, which cause less harm to the environment and meet the requirements of modern fire safety.
Guangdong Shuangli cross-linked polyethylene insulated cables use chemical or physical methods to transform the polyethylene molecules of the cable insulation from a linear molecular structure to a three-dimensional network molecular structure, that is, transform thermoplastic polyethylene into thermosetting cross-linked polyethylene, thereby greatly improving its heat resistance and mechanical properties, reducing its shrinkage, preventing it from melting after being heated, and maintaining excellent electrical properties.
