Product Introduction
The spiral classifier is suitable for separating ore sand in a closed cycle with a ball mill in a beneficiation plant, or for classifying ore sand and fine mud in a gravity beneficiation plant, as well as for particle size classification of ore slurry in metal beneficiation processes, and for desliming, dewatering, and other operations in ore washing operations.
2. Application
Spiral classifiers are widely used in mineral processing plants to form a closed-loop circulation process with ball mills for separating ore sand, or in gravity beneficiation plants to classify ore sand and fine mud, as well as in metal beneficiation processes for particle size classification of slurry, and in ore washing operations such as desliming and dewatering.
3. Working Principle
The spiral classifier relies on the principle that solid particles of different sizes and densities have different settling velocities in liquids. Fine particles float in water and overflow, while coarse particles settle at the bottom of the tank. A classification device that uses a spiral to push upwards and discharge for mechanical classification. It can filter the material powder ground in the mill, and then use a spiral blade to screw the coarse material into the feed inlet of the mill, and discharge the filtered fine material from the overflow pipe.
