Product Overview
Xiongxing Chamfering Machine (Model: XX-7208D, No.: 810603001) is specially designed for chamfering and edge rounding of gemstone and jade rough materials. During operation, the grinding wheel inside the drum rotates, causing the rough stones to tumble and grind automatically, achieving high-efficiency chamfering. This model offers wide applicability and is a standard piece of equipment in the gemstone processing industry.
Working Principle
The motor drives the driving shaft via a belt, which then rotates the grinding wheel mounted on the driven shaft. As the grinding wheel spins at high speed inside the drum, the rough gemstones tumble, collide with each other, and contact the grinding wheel, quickly removing sharp edges and producing a smooth, rounded chamfer.

Installation Steps
1. Place the machine on a stable, level workbench.
2. Check that the grinding wheel is firmly installed and the driven shaft rotates freely.
3. Connect the motor to the power supply (choose 220V or 380V according to local voltage).
4. Adjust belt tension to avoid slipping between the driving shaft and motor pulley.
5. Run a no-load test for 1–2 minutes to confirm no abnormal noise or vibration before use.
Operation Guide
1. Pre-start check: Ensure the drum is free of debris and the grinding wheel is undamaged.
2. Loading: Add an appropriate amount of gemstone rough into the drum (recommended ≤ 2/3 of drum volume).
3. Start: Turn on the power; the rough stones will automatically tumble and grind inside.
4. Chamfering time: Typically 5–30 minutes depending on material and desired chamfer size.
5. Unloading: Turn off the power, open the drum cover, and remove the chamfered rough.
6. Cleaning: Clean the drum interior after each use to extend the life of the PU liner and grinding wheel.
