General Electric IS220YDIAS1B Safe discrete input module
The GE IS220YDIAS1B is a Mark VIeS Safety Discrete Input Module (YDIA) compatible with SIL 3 Safety Instrumented Systems (SIS) for contact signal acquisition in turbine safety control. It features 16 safety discrete inputs and redundant communication to ensure accurate acquisition of critical switch states and safety interlock triggering.
Core Performance:
I/O and Safety Capabilities
Discrete Inputs: 16 safety contact inputs, compatible with 24/28VDC wet contacts, compatible with limit switches, pressure switches, and other contact signals. Single-channel rated current is 2A, supporting contact closure/opening status acquisition.
Safety Certification: Compliant with IEC 61508 SIL 3, 2500Vrms isolation between channels, preventing fault propagation, compatible with Emergency Stop (ETS), overspeed protection, and other safety circuits.
Diagnostic Functions: LED status indication for each channel, supports ControlST real-time diagnostics of channel status and link quality for rapid contact fault location.
Communication and Electrical
Communication Interface: Dual 100M full-duplex Ethernet ports, supporting IONet/Modbus TCP, redundant links ensure continuous data transmission, compatible with Mark VIeS distributed I/O architecture.
Power Supply: 22.5-28.6VDC, overvoltage/reverse connection protection, operating temperature -30℃ to 65℃, suitable for Class 1 Div 2 hazardous areas, vibration/shock resistant.
Management and Maintenance: Supports hot-swapping; failure does not affect other channels, suitable for continuous operation requirements of turbine control.
Terminal Board Compatibility: IS400STCIS1A/2A, IS400TBCIS2C, interfaced via DC-37 pin connectors, flexible installation.
