Extended Small Diameter Couplings 45 #
1. Elastic column pin coupling (LT/TL type)
Structural characteristics: It is composed of a half coupling, an elastic sleeve, a column pin and an extended intermediate shaft, which transmits torque through the column pin and uses the elastic sleeve to compensate for the offset.
Model example: LT type (formerly TL type) with extended joints, such as LT-400 (transmission torque 400N·m), intermediate shaft length can be customized.
Standard: In accordance with GB/T 5014-2003, working temperature -20~+70°C.
Application scenarios: suitable for medium and low speed transmission such as water pumps and fans.
Advantages: Simple structure, low cost, no need to move mobile equipment to replace the elastic sleeve.
2. Torx shaped elastic coupling (LM type, ML type)
Structural Features : The two halves of the coupling are connected by a torx shaped elastomer, with the option of an extended hub design to increase the overall length.
Model examples: ML straight hole extension type (e.g. model 110, hole diameter 35mm), LM clamping type extension.
Standard: GB/T 5272-2002, suitable for CNC machine tools and servo systems, which can compensate for radial deviation ≤0.5mm and angular deviation ≤1°.
Advantages: Zero backlash, high torque transmission, elastomer material is available in polyurethane or rubber.
3. Drum tooth coupling (WGT series)
Structural features: The torque is transmitted through the meshing of drum teeth, and the intermediate shaft or floating joint shaft is used to achieve lengthening.
Model example: WGT8, active end Y-shaped shaft hole d=90, L=172, driven end J1 shaft hole d=100, L=212, intermediate sleeve length 500mm.
Standard: JB/T 8854.3-2001, allowable angular deviation ≤3°.
Application scenarios: suitable for heavy equipment such as rolling mills and cranes.
Advantages: Strong bearing capacity, can adapt to high temperature (-40~+150°C) and shock loads.
4. Diaphragm coupling (JMJ type/SJM type)
Structural features: It is composed of stainless steel diaphragm group and intermediate connecting shaft, and JMJ is a two-section extended type.
Model example: JMJ-200 (transmission torque 200 kN·m), SJM diaphragm two-section extension type.
Standard : JB/T 9147-1999, suitable for high-speed motors (speed ≤ 10,000r/min), can compensate for axial displacement ±2mm.
Advantages: no lubrication, corrosion resistance, long service life (up to more than 10 years).
5. Composite elastic coupling (three-jaw coupling series)
Structural features : The elastic elements are made of polyurethane and sheet metal, and the bushings can be used with a U-turn to adjust the length.
Standard: GB/T 13936-1992, suitable for pumps and compressors, allowable radial deviation ≤ 1.6mm, angular deviation ≤ 1.5°.
Advantages: Easy installation and visual inspection of the elastomeric element status.
6. Tire coupling (F series)
Structural characteristics: The elastic tire body is connected with the half coupling by bolts, and the extension shaft needs to be used with the "F" flange.
Model example: F100 (with extended flange).
