Product Introduction
The air filter element is made of a variety of composite materials through a special process and has hydrophilic properties. It can not only filter out mechanical impurities in the medium, but also separate the emulsified water from the medium through demulsification and coalescence, and coalesce it into larger water droplets to facilitate further purification of the medium.
Filtration Principle
Droplets of oil, water and other liquids are captured by the ultrafine fibers inside the coalescer. These micron-sized fibers form tortuous channels for the airflow, forcing solid particles and liquid droplets to be captured by the ultrafine fibers under the action of three filtration mechanisms: inertial collision, diffusion interception and direct interception. The surface tension of the liquid causes small droplets to coalesce into larger droplets. Due to the effect of gravity, the large droplets settle to the bottom of the container.
The glass fiber coalescing filter element is made of high-density gradient glass fiber. It is designed as an integral single-tube structure to reduce breakage and leakage. The surface of the filter element is treated with hydrophobic and oleophobic agents to meet the requirements of various precision levels.
The polyester fiber coalescing filter element is usually made of synthetic polyester fiber materials, which have good compatibility with various fluids. The filter element is spirally wound with a multi-layer structure. Each layer uses fibers with different properties. The expected filtration precision is achieved by controlling the shape, size, thickness and density of the fibers in each layer.
The coalescing filter element mainly selects surface-treated glass fiber or polyester fiber as the coalescing medium. The structure of the filter material is specially designed to make the filter medium have good coalescing performance. The filtration precision can reach 0.1μm.
