The FB series explosion-proof axial-flow local ventilation fans, also known as local fans, mine local fans, or local fan blowers, are mainly used in mines and other industrial sectors to transport air containing gas, coal dust, and other gases. They can be used for mine tunneling, shaft construction, local ventilation in coal mines, metal mines, and other mines, as well as long-distance ventilation in tunnels.

The FB series mine-used explosion-proof forced-in axial-flow local ventilation fans (hereinafter referred to as ventilation fans) comply with the standards of MT222—2007 "Technical Conditions for Local Ventilation Fans" and Q/YAF001-2011 "FB Series Mine-Used Explosion-Proof Forced-In Axial-Flow Local Ventilation Fans". They are suitable for local ventilation in underground coal mines with gas, coal dust, and other explosive environments and are used in conjunction with positive-pressure air ducts. They can also be used as ventilation equipment for tunnel construction. The ventilation fans are designed with multi-objective overall optimization using computational fluid dynamics. The blades are made of the FMIA airfoil used in aero-engines, which results in a large area of high-efficiency operating conditions. The ventilation fans feature a compact structure, large air volume, high air pressure, long air supply distance, high efficiency, energy saving, and low noise.
