Mud-stone Separator - It is a device that can separate and screen raw materials of different sizes and shapes through the movement of rollers. By adjusting the gap between the disc rollers, it can effectively separate raw materials with relatively large differences in size. The distance between the rollers can be adjusted to set the size of the screened raw materials, which is used to screen waste raw materials smaller than the set roller size.
The output of the mud-stone separator is 4 times that of the traditional drum screen of the same volume, and the screening efficiency is also 2 times that of the drum screen. Technical characteristics of the disc screen: It can replace the drum screen. Compared with the drum screen, it has a larger processing capacity, a smaller footprint, and higher screening efficiency. It uses a variable frequency drive control method, with low energy consumption, high reliability, and adjustable processing capacity. Wear-resistant sprockets, chain linkage, and tension chain design ensure high reliability during normal operation. Parametric design allows customers to select the appropriate number of modules according to their requirements, which is convenient for maintenance and industrial structure adjustment.
Precautions for the installation, adjustment, and operation of the mud-stone separator:
1. Due to the large torque of the mud-stone separator, it is recommended to install the equipment on a concrete frame. The frame is equipped with embedded welding parts for welding during installation. The depth and scope of the frame should be calculated independently according to the soil conditions. It is recommended that the total weight of the frame is approximately 3 times the total weight of the equipment.
2. After the installation is in place, check whether the large and small transmission gears of the reduction motor are misaligned, and whether the distance between the side plate of the box and the large wheel bucket is consistent. After adjustment, weld the equipment firmly to the frame.
3. Add industrial lubricating oil and adjust the oil level. Usually, it is advisable to keep the oil level 50% below the middle of the shaft.
Roller screens are widely used in the coal transportation system of power plants. They are installed before the coal crusher to screen out the oversize materials larger than the screen holes in the coal and send them to the coal crusher for crushing. The materials smaller than the screen holes fall directly into the system by their own gravity.
