Introduction to the performance of Tongdun ionomer interlayer film
The ionomer interlayer film is an ionic film of a copolymer of ethylene and methacrylate, containing a trace amount of sodium metal ions. The bonding force between the film and glass is mainly the result of ionic bond action. Therefore, the bonding force between the ionomer interlayer film and glass is much higher than that between the PVB film and glass. And its hardness is 100 times that of traditional PVB interlayer materials, and its tear strength is 5 times that of PVB interlayer materials. The ionomer interlayer film developed by Tongdun has high bonding performance, optical performance, and mechanical performance, which can fully meet the requirements of the laminated safety glass industry for interlayer films. Compared with PVB films, laminated glass with ionomer films has the following characteristics:
● Higher strength
Compared with laminated glass with PVB films, laminated glass with Tongdun ionomer films has higher bending strength. Under the same glass structure and thickness, it has higher load and wind pressure resistance.
● Lower deflection and larger equivalent glass thickness
Due to its high strength, in architectural design, under the same deflection requirement, laminated glass with Tongdun ionomer films can be realized with a smaller glass thickness. It is beneficial to reduce the weight of the glass and the weight of the entire support system.
● Better post - breakage safety.
The ionomer film has higher tensile strength and tear strength. The laminated glass still has strong support after being broken.
● Better optical performance.
Packaging and storage of Tongdun ionomer interlayer film
Pack aging : The inner packaging uses aluminized film vacuum packaging, and the outer packaging uses wooden box packaging. Both the inner and outer packages are attached with product information certificates.
Storage: It should be stored in a cool and dry place at a temperature below 30℃, and avoid direct sunlight. If the package is opened or damaged, it should be placed in a constant temperature dehumidification room with a temperature of 18 - 25℃ and a relative humidity below 25% and used as soon as possible.
Transportation: Avoid sunlight, rain, heavy pressure, and severe vibration during transportation.
Shelf life: The normal storage shelf life is two years. After opening the package, it can be stored for 3 months in a constant temperature dehumidification room with a temperature of 18 - 25℃ and a relative humidity below 25%.
