Product Introduction PRODUCT INTRODUCTION
Edge stability refers to the durability of the exposed edge of laminated glass under atmospheric conditions. PVB laminated glass is not resistant to moisture. It is easy to delaminate and separate under the action of water vapor. Therefore, the exposed edges need to be sealed. However, Tongdun SGP laminated glass has good edge stability, is not sensitive to moisture, and will not delaminate or separate even under exposed conditions. It can be used with open edges without sealing.

Ordinary PVB laminated glass, especially tempered laminated glass, will produce large bending deformation once the glass is broken, and there is a risk of the whole piece falling off. The risk is even greater when the glass is horizontally installed on the skylight. There have been cases of accidental accidents where the whole piece of glass fell. SGP interlayer film laminated glass has good integrity. Its tear strength is 5 times that of ordinary PVB interlayer film. Even if the glass is broken, the SGP interlayer film can still bond the broken glass to form a temporary structure after damage. Its bending deformation is small, and it can bear a certain amount of load without the whole piece falling. This greatly improves the safety of the glass.
The SGP interlayer film itself is colorless and transparent, and has good weather resistance and is not easy to turn yellow. The yellowing coefficient of the SGP film is less than 1.5, while that of the PVB film is 6 - 12. Therefore, SGP laminated glass can better meet the architectural art requirements of architects. If ultra-clear glass (low-iron glass) and SGP interlayer film are used to make ultra-clear laminated glass, it will have a crystal-clear optical effect.

Packaging and storage of Tongdun ionic interlayer film
Packaging : The inner packaging uses aluminum-plated film vacuum packaging, and the outer packaging uses wooden box packaging. Both the inner and outer packaging are attached with product information certificates.
Storage: It should be stored in a cool and dry place at a temperature below 30℃, avoiding direct sunlight. If the packaging is opened or damaged, it should be placed in a constant temperature dehumidification room with a temperature of 18~25℃ and a relative humidity below 25% and used as soon as possible.
Transportation: Avoid sun exposure, rain, heavy pressure, and severe vibration during transportation.
Shelf life: The normal storage shelf life is two years. After opening the package, it can be stored for 3 months in a constant temperature dehumidification room with a temperature of 18~25℃ and a relative humidity below 25%.
