Introduction to the performance of Tongdun Ionic Interlayer Film
Ionic interlayer film is an ionic film of a copolymer of ethylene and methacrylate, containing a trace amount of sodium metal ions. The bonding force between this film and glass is mainly the result of ionic bond action. Therefore, the bonding force between the ionic interlayer film and glass is much higher than that between PVB film and glass. Moreover, its hardness is 100 times that of traditional PVB interlayer materials, and its tear strength is 5 times that of PVB interlayer materials. The ionic interlayer film developed by Tongdun has high bonding performance, optical performance, and mechanical performance, which can fully meet the requirements of the laminated safety glass industry for interlayer films. Compared with PVB films, laminated glass with ionic polymer films has the following characteristics:
● Higher strength
Laminated glass with Tongdun ionic polymer films has higher bending strength than laminated glass with PVB films. Under the same glass structure and thickness, it has higher load-bearing and wind pressure resistance.
● Lower deflection and larger equivalent glass thickness
Due to its high strength, in architectural design, under the same deflection requirement, laminated glass with Tongdun ionic polymer films can achieve the goal with a smaller glass thickness. It is beneficial to reduce the weight of the glass and the weight of the entire support system.
● Better post-breakage safety.
Ionic polymer films have higher tensile strength and tear strength. The laminated glass still has strong supportability after being broken.
● Better optical performance.
Ionic polymer films have higher light transmittance, lower haze, and a low yellow index. After being compounded with ultra-clear glass, it has higher transparency and visual effects.

Packaging and Storage of Tongdun Ionic Interlayer Film
Packaging : The inner packaging uses aluminum-plated film vacuum packaging, and the outer packaging uses wooden box packaging. Both the inner and outer packaging are attached with product information certificates.
Storage: It should be stored in a cool and dry place at a temperature below 30℃, and avoid direct sunlight. If the package is opened or damaged, it should be placed in a constant temperature dehumidification room with a temperature of 18~25℃ and a relative humidity below 25% and used as soon as possible.
Transportation: Avoid sun exposure, rain, heavy pressure and severe vibration during transportation.
Shelf life: The normal storage shelf life is two years. After opening the package, it can be stored for 3 months in a constant temperature dehumidification room with a temperature of 18~25℃ and a relative humidity below 25%.
