Product Introduction
The ionic interlayer film is a copolymer of ethylene and methacrylic acid, in which part of the acrylic acid is saponified. The sodium ions in the molecular structure will form ionic clusters, which act as physical cross - linking points. Therefore, the ionic interlayer film has high mechanical properties. The tensile strength of the ionomer is more than 50% higher than that of the PVB film, and the elastic modulus is 100 times that of the PVB film. The acrylic acid in the ionic polymer will form ionic bonds with the metal ions in the glass, and its bonding strength with the glass is higher than that of the PVB film.

Compared with the PVB film, the laminated glass with the ionic polymer film has the following characteristics:
Higher Strength
The laminated glass with Tongdun ionic polymer film has higher bending strength than the laminated glass with PVB film. Under the same glass structure and thickness, it has higher load - bearing capacity and wind - pressure resistance.
Lower Deflection and Larger Equivalent Glass Thickness
Due to its high strength, in architectural design, under the same deflection requirement, the laminated glass with Tongdun ionic polymer film can achieve the goal with a smaller glass thickness. It is beneficial to reduce the weight of the glass and the entire support system.
Better Post - breakage Safety.
The ionic polymer film has higher tensile strength and tear strength, and its laminated glass still has strong support after being broken.
Better Optical Properties.
The ionic polymer film has higher transmittance, lower haze, and a low yellow index. After being compounded with ultra - clear glass, it has higher transparency and visual effects.

Storage: It should be stored in a cool and dry place at a temperature below 30℃, avoiding direct sunlight. If the packaging is opened or damaged, it should be placed in a constant - temperature dehumidification room at a temperature of 18 - 25℃ and a relative humidity below 25% and used as soon as possible.
Transportation: Avoid sun exposure, rain, heavy pressure, and severe vibration during transportation.
Shelf life: The normal storage shelf life is two years. After opening the package, it can be stored for 3 months in a constant temperature dehumidification room with a temperature of 18~25℃ and a relative humidity of less than 25%.
