product overview:
The foam cold press is an environmentally friendly equipment specially used to process waste foam plastics (such as EPS, EPE, EPP, etc.). It greatly compresses the foam volume through cold pressing technology, making it easier to transport and recycle.
Performance and Characteristics:
1.Environmental protection and energy saving: no heating process, low energy consumption, no harmful gas emissions.
2.Efficient volume reduction: the foam density after compression can reach 300-600kg/m³, greatly reducing transportation costs.
3.Strong adaptability: can handle EPS (polystyrene), EPE (pearl cotton), XPS and other foams.
4.Automatic operation: Some models are equipped with PLC control system to achieve automatic feeding, compression and discharging.

There are many product specifications and models
The foam cold press has a wide variety of product specifications. Different specifications are mainly reflected in core parameters such as processing capacity, power, body size, compression ratio, and feeding method to adapt to the needs of different scenarios
1. Horizontal: large processing capacity focuses on "high efficiency and batch processing", strong continuous operation stability, suitable for large recycling plants, logistics warehouses and other centralized processing scenarios, and can be connected to the back-end transportation/storage system.
2. Vertical: medium processing capacity focuses on "space saving, flexibility and convenience", suitable for small and medium-sized recycling stations and stores, mainly intermittent operations, and more manual intervention.
3. The mobile vehicle-mounted type has a small processing capacity , which is limited by the vehicle power and is suitable for decentralized recycling (such as communities and exhibition sites). It is compressed as it is collected to avoid foam occupying transportation space.
Foam cold pressing machine structure composition
1. Power system: The motor (or hydraulic device) provides power to drive the compression components.
2. Compression system: The screw propeller (commonly used for horizontal) or the vertical pressure rod (commonly used for vertical) squeezes the foam through mechanical pressure to achieve volume reduction.
3. Feeding device: Top (vertical) or side (horizontal) feeding port, some are equipped with crushers to pre-crush large foam blocks.
4. Discharge port: discharge high-density compressed blocks, mostly in the shape of columns or blocks.
5. Frame and shell: support the main structure, protect the internal components, and some models have moving wheels (small machines).
6. Control system: adjust parameters such as speed and pressure to achieve automatic or manual operation.
