Product Overview:
Foam cold press is also called waste foam cold press, foam compactor, foam briquetting machine, foam compressor, foam extruder, foam volume reduction machine, etc. It is a kind of equipment that first crushes the waste foam and then uses spiral extrusion to form it.
Performance characteristics
1.No need to heat: directly compress the foam through mechanical extrusion, eliminating the heating process, saving energy and avoiding material degradation.
2.High compression ratio: can compress loose foam to 1/20~1/50 of the original volume, greatly reducing storage and transportation space.
3.Wide applicability: can handle a variety of foams such as EPS, EPE, XPS, no crushing pretreatment is required, and flexible feeding.
4.Simple operation: one-button start, automatic feeding and compression, equipped with overload protection, stable operation and easy maintenance.
5.Environmental protection and low consumption: no exhaust gas emissions, low motor power (usually 3~7.5kW), and energy consumption is only 1/10 of that of hot pressing equipment.
6.Easy to handle finished products: the density of the compressed foam blocks is uniform (0.3~0.5g/cm³), which is convenient for subsequent granulation or recycling and transportation.

The foam cold press has a wide variety of product specifications. Different specifications are mainly reflected in core parameters such as processing capacity, power, body size, compression ratio, and feeding method to adapt to the needs of different scenarios
1. Horizontal: large processing capacity (100-500kg per hour) focuses on "high efficiency and batch processing", strong continuous operation stability, suitable for large recycling plants, logistics warehouses and other centralized processing scenarios, and can be connected to the back-end transportation/storage system.
2. Vertical: medium processing capacity (30-150kg per hour) focuses on "space saving, flexibility and convenience", suitable for small and medium-sized recycling stations and stores, mainly intermittent operations, and more manual intervention.
3. The mobile vehicle-mounted type has a small processing capacity (20-100kg per hour), which is limited by the vehicle power and is suitable for decentralized recycling (such as communities and exhibition sites). It is compressed as it is collected to avoid foam occupying transportation space.
