The 269PLUS-DO-225-100P-HI-125VDC is a motor protection relay system in GE Multilin's 269 Plus series of motor protection systems. The system is designed to be used in combination with various three-phase AC motors. The system protects the motor from electrical and thermal damage through resistance thermal detectors (RTDS) and current transformers (CT). The power input of the controller is 80-300 VDC or 65-265 VAC and 50-60 Hz. At 120VAC/125 VDC, the maximum power consumption is 20VA and 100 ms. The RTD sensor of this device is a 100 ohm platinum sensor. They have a display accuracy of ±2°C and a set point range of 0-200 °C. Sensor has dead zone at 3°C. The sensor also has a 25% resistance at 0°C.
Once the system is set up correctly, the user can program it. Programming is done using the 12-key keyboard on the front panel. The 48-character alphanumeric LCD display is key to ensuring the system is properly programmed. When programming, it is important to understand what each key performs. The actual value key is used to find a specific value determined by the system. These values can include phase current data, metering data, and statistics. Various arrow keys on the front panel are used to navigate menus and adjust parameters. The help key allows users to display specific information about a particular parameter or menu they are accessing
