AISI 904L Welded Pipe according to specification ASTM A312. Though the content of carbon is lower, these pipes could be used for high temperature applications.
The significant inclusion of nickel to the alloy of ASME SA 312 TP904L makes it possible for the pipes to have an outstanding performance even in elevated settings. Along with being a non-magnetic alloy, the A249 UNS N08904 Seamless Welded Pipe Tube also exhibits good resistance to stress related corrosion cracking. The presence of molybdenum in the ASTM A312 TP 904L Pipe reduces the occurrence of crevice corrosion. Along with being used in applications between moderate to high temperatures, the 904L SS Pipe is primarily useful for general corrosion applications.
More About 904L:The ASTM A312 TP 904L material is labeled as a super austenitic stainless steel alloy because of its corrosion resistance properties. Because the alloy has a higher content of molybdenum in its alloy, the ASME SB677 TP 904L Square Pipe exhibits superior resistance to localized attack, specifically from corrosion forms like pitting and crevice corrosion. Copper content in the ASTM B673 UNS N08904 ERW Pipe greatly improves resistance to strong reducing acids, especially (H2SO4) sulphuric acid. With excellent weldability and formability 904L also maintain non-magnetic state in all conditions. 904L Stainless Steel Pipe provides excellent toughness , even down to cryogenic temperatures with its austenitic structure.

Incoloy 926(UNS N08926/W.Nr. 1.4529) stainless steel is a superaustenitic (highly alloyed) stainless steel formulated for primary forming into wrought products. N08926 is the UNS number for this material. Alloy 926 is the common industry name. 1.4529 grade stainless steel has a high tensile strength which can be classified as nickel alloys (according to American standards). Delivered in the supersaturated state exhibits resistance to intercrystalline, pitting, and stress corrosion, salt, sea water, chloride, sulfuric acid, phosphoric acid and other aggressive chemicals in high concentrations in liquid and gaseous form.Materials of 1.4529 grade, except high chemical resistance, can work at elevated temperatures while maintaining adequate mechanical properties.Ignoring the high content of nickel and chromium, the standard also specifies a relatively large amount of Molybdenum and Nitrogen, which is particularly worthwhile when selecting grade from the related group of high alloy steels.Significantly higher percentages of Nitrogen and Molybdenum contribute to limiting the creation of intermetallic phases, as well as improving the impact resistance.
