Product Overview: PM866A-2 is a high-performance programmable logic controller (PLC) module, belonging to ABB's AC 800M series. It is mainly used in the field of industrial automation control, capable of realizing the control of industrial processes and machines, and can cooperate with other ABB products to form a complete control system.
Technical Parameters: It adopts a 32-bit ARM Cortex - A8 processor, equipped with 128MB RAM and 1GB flash memory. It has communication interfaces such as Ethernet, Profibus, and Modbus, enabling connections with multiple communication protocols. It has 128 digital input channels and 128 digital output channels, which can meet the access and output needs of various industrial control signals.

Communication Function: The backplane has two RJ45 Ethernet ports (CN1, CN2) for connecting to the control network and two RJ45 serial ports (COM3, COM4). One of the serial ports (COM3) is an RS - 232C port with modem control signals, and the other port (COM4) is isolated for connecting configuration tools.
Address Setting Function: For units with PROFIBUS PA, the bus address is factory-set to "126" and must be reset to a number within the valid range (0-125) during startup. The address can be set locally on the unit (via DIP switches on the digital board), through system tools, or via a PROFIBUS DP master class 2 (such as Asset Vision Basic).
