Working principle
Data reception and transmission: This interface card is equipped with dual RS-232 serial ports. When connected to external serial devices such as printers and barcode readers, it can work in half-duplex or full-duplex communication mode according to the set communication protocol (such as RS-232 protocol). In half-duplex mode, data can be transmitted in both directions, but only in one direction at the same time. Full-duplex mode can simultaneously transfer data in both directions. It can receive the data sent by external devices and transmit it to the DeltaV control system. It can also send the data sent by the DeltaV system to external devices to achieve data interaction between the two sides.
Baud rate matching and data transmission rate control: Supports baud rates up to 115kbps, and can negotiate with connected devices to set an appropriate baud rate to ensure stable data transmission at a steady rate, guaranteeing the efficiency and accuracy of data transmission and preventing data loss or errors.
Electrical isolation and anti-interference: The communication port has an electrical isolation function, which can effectively prevent electrical noise interference and protect the stability of data transmission. Even in harsh environments such as strong electromagnetic interference in industrial sites, it can ensure the accurate and error-free transmission of data, enabling reliable communication between the interface card and the connected device.
Power support and stable operation: Obtain a power supply of 12VDC and 300mA through the local bus to provide energy for the internal circuits and chips, maintain their normal working state, and ensure the stable operation of functions such as data reception, processing and transmission.
