Working principle

Digital input principle: The module is equipped with multiple digital input channels and can be connected to various digital sensors, such as proximity switches, limit switches, etc. When the state of the sensor changes, corresponding electrical signals will be generated, such as high or low levels. These signals are transmitted to the signal processing circuit inside the module through the input channel. The module performs filtering, amplification and other processing on them to remove interference and ensure the accuracy of the signals. Then, the processed signals are converted into digital signals that can be recognized by the internal circuit of the module for subsequent processing.

The principle of digital output: The module determines the state of the digital signal to be output based on the internal program or the received control instructions. These signals are amplified and processed by the internal drive circuit to have sufficient driving capacity. Then, they are transmitted to external actuating devices such as relays and solenoid valves through digital output channels, thereby controlling the start, stop, switch and other actions of these devices to achieve the control of industrial processes.

Signal processing and logical operations: The module usually integrates a microprocessor or logic circuit inside, which can process and analyze the input digital signals. It can perform operations on multiple input signals based on preset logical relationships (such as AND, OR, not and other logical operations), and then determine the state of the output signal according to the operation results. For example, when the input signals of multiple limit switches meet specific logical conditions, the module output signal controls the motor to stop running.

Communication principle: This module supports multiple communication protocols, such as Profibus, Canbus, Rs-485, etc., and can be connected to the main control devices such as PLC and DCS through the corresponding communication interfaces. The module transmits the collected digital input signal data to the main control device through the communication interface, and the main control device can conduct overall system monitoring and decision-making based on these data. Meanwhile, the main control device can also send control instructions to the module through the communication interface. The module receives and executes these instructions to achieve the control of the output channel.

Power supply principle: The module requires external power supply and usually supports a wide voltage input range. The power supply circuit converts and stabilizes the external input power supply, providing a stable DC power supply for various circuit units inside the module, such as signal processing circuits, microprocessors, and drive circuits, to ensure the normal operation of the module.
