Definition and Characteristics
Definition: Seamless alloy steel pipe is a type of seamless steel pipe, which is a steel pipe containing specific proportions of alloy elements and has a hollow cross-section without any seams around.

Convenient processing: When used to manufacture ring-shaped parts, it can improve material utilization, simplify manufacturing processes, and save materials and processing time.
Seamless Alloy Steel Tubes
Seamless alloy steel tubes and pipes, especially standard ASTM A213, are widely used for boilers, heat exchangers, high pressure devices, superheaters, and reheaters. Due to seamless alloy steel tubes’ hardness and mechanical property, they are siutable for high temperature and high pressure circumstances. ASTM A213 Standard is Seamless Ferritic and Austenitic Alloy-steel Boiler, Superheater, and Heat-Exchanger tubes.
Beside alloy steel tubes, ASTM A213 also includes stainless tubes, which are also widely used for boilers, heat exchangers, and condensers.
Another very important alloy steel tubes standard is ASTM A209 T1 for superheater usage. has exported more than 500 tons of ASTM A209 T1 tubes to Indonesia in last three years.

Application: Alloy Steel Tubes (Pipes) are High-pressure Boiler Tubes, which are mainly applied on Super Heaters, Reheaters, Water Walls, Economizers of the Super Critical and Ultra Super Critical Boilers, the Alloy Tubes required to have high creep rupture strength.
Production process
Hot-rolled (extruded) seamless steel pipe: round tube billet → heating → piercing → three-roll cross-rolling, continuous rolling or extrusion → deheading → sizing (or reducing) → cooling → rough pipe → straightening → hydrostatic testing (or flaw detection) → marking → storage.
Cold-drawn (rolled) seamless steel pipe: round tube billet → heating → piercing → heading → annealing → acid washing → oil coating (copper plating) → multiple cold drawing (cold rolling) → rough pipe → heat treatment → straightening → hydrostatic testing (flaw detection) → marking → storage.
