According to the type of weld: it can be divided into straight seam welded pipes and spiral welded pipes. The welds of straight seam welded pipes are in a straight line shape, and the production process is relatively simple with high production efficiency, suitable for large-diameter and medium-low pressure pipeline systems; the welds of spiral welded pipes are in a spiral shape. They have higher strength and good sealing performance, and are often used in high-pressure, large-diameter long-distance pipelines.

Manufacturing process

Material selection: High-quality stainless steel sheets are selected and undergo strict quality inspections, including chemical composition analysis and mechanical performance tests, to ensure that the raw materials meet the product requirements.

Forming: After the stainless steel sheets undergo pre-treatment such as unwinding, flattening, and trimming, they are rolled into the required tubular shape using forming equipment. Common forming methods include UOE forming, continuous tube forming machine forming, and spiral welded pipe machine forming, etc.

Welding: Appropriate welding methods are used to weld the formed pipe blanks, such as plasma welding, laser welding, and argon arc welding, to ensure that the weld seams are firm and uniform, and to guarantee the sealing and strength of the pipeline.

Post-processing: After welding, a series of post-processing procedures are carried out on the welded pipes, such as internal and external weld seam leveling treatment, online solution treatment and belt-type annealing furnace treatment, continuous shaping, infrared diameter measurement, polishing, acid washing and passivation, etc., to improve the surface quality, dimensional accuracy and comprehensive performance of the welded pipes.
