High transparency, low yellowing, medium viscosity light-cure acrylic-based adhesive. High, on-demand curing speed.
LOCTITE AA 3491 is a clear, low yellowing, light-cured, universal, acrylic-based instant adhesive,
suited to plastics and well suited to ceramics, glass and metals.
It has a high, on-demand, curing speed. Depth of cure is 4 mm.
Tack free time 15 secs. Fixturing time is 12 secs. Shore hardness: D 75. Medium viscosity 1,100 mPa·s.
LOCTITE AA 3491™ cures in seconds upon exposure to ultraviolet radiation of 365nm to form an impact resistant bond
which exhibits excellent resistance to prolonged humidity or water immersion.
Typical applications include bonding and sealing or potting applications of glass to itself or other materials,
such as rough surface decorative glass, molded glass tableware items or automotive lighting components.
