The volume of water extracted from a test hole during pressurization at a given pressure (10 bar -150 psi) is used for testing. It is mainly used for variable permeability formations in fracturing evaluation.
This test was conducted in a portion of the borehole isolated by a pneumatic packer. Use a slotted pipe to inject water into the isolation section of the borehole, which is limited by an inflatable packer. Packers can be inflated using gas compressors on the ground, so they can isolate and seal that part of the borehole. The pressure sensor is also located in this section to measure pressure with the help of a reading station on the surface.
