Applicable scope:
Medium: High concentration slurry with many solid particles in the process of aluminum plants, alkali plants, nitrate plants, or salt plants.
Concentration (wt): ≤ 40%
Pressure: ≤ 1MPa
Temperature: -20~160 ℃
Sealing face average velocity ≤ 15m/s
Shaft diameter: 45-300mm (the dimension can also be customized)
Material: 316L or 2205 or 2507 or TA2+hard alloy or silicon carbide (SiC)
Features: Corrosion resistance, high temperature resistance, high pressure resistance, and wear resistance.
Structural characteristics and precautions:
(1) Double sealing face, cartridge type, external flushing, and the rotary ring is fixed onto the shaft by set crews (locking screws) to make the rotary ring rotate with the shaft, regardless of the direction of rotation.
(2) Mechanical seals generally operate continuously. If it is necessary to shut down the machine, the sealing chamber must be flushed to prevent stuttering and solidification, which may affect the flexibility and floatability of mechanical seal parts
(3) During installation, lubricating oil should be applied to the inner hole of the shaft sleeve and the O-ring to facilitate installation. (Note: Can only neutral shampoo as lubricant for ethylene propylene rubber.)
(4) After the mechanical seal is put in place, symmetrically and evenly tighten the installation screws (or bolts), and finally must remove all positioning blocks (limited blocks) before starting the main equipment (the pump)
(5) Operating procedure: First turn on the flushing water, then turn on the main equipment (the pump); Stop the main equipment first, then turn off the flushing water. Don’t make the mechanical seal and oil seal work in a dry friction state
(6) The pressure of flushing water is about 0.05MPa, which can flow naturally.
(7) Applicable for axial pump models: ZAP-300, ZAP-400, ZAP-500, ZAP-600, ZAP-700, ZAP/-800, ZAP-900, ZAP-1000, ZAP-1200, ZAP-1500
