Applicable scope:
Medium: suspension containing solid particles such as power plant ash and alkaline solution.
Concentration (wt): ≤ 40%
Pressure: ≤ 4MPa
Temperature: -20~120 ℃
Sealing face average velocity ≤ 10m/s
Shaft diameter: 45~170mm (the dimension can also be customized)
Material: 2Cr13/304/316+hard alloy
Structural features and precautions:
(1) External flushing, single sealing face, cartridge type, the rotary ring is fixed onto the shaft by set screws or cone sleeve clamping to make the rotary ring rotate with the shaft, regardless of the direction of rotation.
(2) To improve the working environment of mechanical seals, the flushing water pressure should be around 0.1MPa higher than the medium pressure in the main equipment (the pump).
(3) After the mechanical seal is put in place, symmetrically and evenly tighten the installation screws (or bolts), and finally must remove all positioning blocks (limited blocks) before starting the main equipment (the pump)
(4) Operating procedure: First turn on the flushing water, then turn on the main equipment (the pump); Stop the main equipment first, then turn off the flushing water.
