Features and Benefits

VOK®- DF 1794 is a zero emission defoamer conforming to German AgBB (Certification of the Committee of Volatile Harmful Substances of Building Materials) and French standards. The additive is especially recommended for high solid and solvent-free epoxy, polyurethane, polyaspartic acid and UV curing systems. It is applicable to colored and non colored systems, does not affect the surface properties of the system, and can play a role in production and subsequent processes. The additive is 100% solid and contains no VOC. VOK®- DF 1794 can be used for thick coating systems, such as floor coatings. VOK®- DF 1794 has very good compatibility with solvent free ballast tanks and interior design coatings. It is as effective in 100% polyurethane and aspartic acid ester system pipeline and concrete coatings as in other high-performance solvent-free anti-corrosion coatings. In typical solvent based coil systems (e.g., polyester/amino or polyurethane coatings), VOK®- DF 1794 has very good compatibility and provides good rapid defoaming effect.

VOK®- DF 1794 can be added either in the abrasive or in the paint mixing stage. If the additive is added later, enough high shear force is required to ensure that the additive can be uniformly dispersed in the system.
