VOK®- DF 1790 is a polymer based non silicon defoamer used for solvent-free radiation curing wood coatings, industrial coatings, printing inks and adhesives.

Paint industry and printing ink

Features and advantages VOK®- DF 1790 is a non silicon defoamer, which is recommended for solvent-free radiation curing (UV and EB) paint systems (colored paint and non colored paint), printing ink and varnish. It has high defoaming efficiency but has no negative effect on pigments, fillers, wax additives and matting powder.

Recommended dosage

0.1-0.7% auxiliary dosage (supply form) is based on the general formula.

The above recommended dosage is for reference, and the appropriate dosage shall be determined through a series of tests.

Adding method and processing guidance

The defoamer must be uniformly mixed with the system under high shear force (for example, added in the abrasive), so as to ensure good dispersion of the auxiliary agent, otherwise defects may occur.

Adhesives and Sealants

Features and advantages VOK®- DF 1790 is a non silicon defoamer, which is recommended for solvent-free radiation curing (UV and EB) adhesives, and can also be used for reactive polyurethane hot melt adhesives. The additive does not affect the adhesive strength. It can prevent the reactive polyurethane hot melt adhesive from producing bubbles in the manufacturing process, and can even significantly shorten the degassing process in the high viscosity system, thus improving the production efficiency.
