Application field
Coating industry
Product features and advantages VOK ®- Disper 2010 strongly reduces the viscosity of the abrasive. It prevents the pigment from thickening by steric hindrance and electrostatic repulsion. As the pigment is deflocculated, it can improve color strength, transparency or hiding power, and obtain high luster. In addition, the auxiliary is also helpful for convection leveling. VOK ®- Disper 2010 has a relatively hydrophobic structure, which can reduce the influence of additives on the water resistance of dry film.
Recommended use
Industrial coatings
Automotive Coatings
Wood and furniture coatings
Anticorrosive coating
VOK ®- Disper 2010 is especially recommended for the production of stable resin free pigment concentrate slurry to prevent floating color of water-based paint. Pigment dispersion can only be carried out in water (without resin, amine or cosolvent). VOK ®- Disper 2010 contains no organic solvents and is only applicable to water-based systems.
Recommended dosage
Additive dosage (purchase form) is based on pigment:
Inorganic pigment: 20-30%
Titanium dioxide: 10-12%
Organic pigment: 30-75%
Carbon black: 130-150%
The above recommended dosage is for reference only, and good dosage shall be determined through a series of tests.
Adding method and processing guidance
In order to produce resin free pigment concentrate slurry, it is only necessary to mix the additives with water, and the pigments can be added only after the additives are evenly dispersed. Pigment dispersion can only be carried out in water (without resin, amine or cosolvent).
