Product Overview
The device is mainly used for AC withstand voltage test of cross-linked cables, hydro generators, main transformers, buses, GIS, etc. It has a wide scope of application and is an ideal withstand voltage equipment for local, municipal and county high voltage test departments and power installation and repair engineering units.
The device is mainly composed of variable frequency control power supply, excitation transformer, reactor, capacitor divider and compensation capacitor (optional).
Product advantages:
1. The required power capacity is greatly reduced. The series resonant power supply uses the resonant reactor and the capacitance of the tested object to generate high voltage and large current. In the whole system, the power supply only needs to provide the active power consumption part of the system. Therefore, the power supply required for the test is only 1/Q of the test capacity.
2. The weight and volume of the equipment are greatly reduced. In the series resonant power supply, not only the heavy high-power voltage regulating device and the ordinary high-power power frequency test transformer are omitted, but also the resonant excitation power supply only needs 1/Q of the test capacity, which greatly reduces the weight and volume of the system, which is generally 1/10-1/30 of the ordinary test device.
3. Improve the waveform of the output voltage. The resonant power supply is a resonant filter circuit, which can improve the waveform distortion of the output voltage, obtain a good sinusoidal waveform, and effectively prevent the breakdown of the test object caused by the harmonic peak value.
4. Prevent large short-circuit current from burning the fault point. In the series resonance state, when the insulation weak point of the test object is broken down, the circuit is immediately de tuned, and the loop current rapidly drops to 1/Q of the normal test current. When the withstand voltage test is conducted by parallel resonance or test transformer, the breakdown current immediately rises by dozens of times. Compared with the two methods, the short-circuit current and the breakdown current differ by hundreds of times. Therefore, the series resonance can effectively find the insulation weakness, and there is no hidden danger of large short-circuit current burning the fault point.
5. No recovery overvoltage will occur. When the test object breaks down, due to the loss of resonance conditions, the high voltage disappears immediately, the arc extinguishes immediately, and the re establishment process of the recovery voltage is very long. It is easy to disconnect the power supply before reaching the flashover voltage again. The recovery process of this voltage is an intermittent oscillation process of energy accumulation, which is long and will not have any recovery overvoltage.

The device has protection functions such as over-voltage, over-current, zero start, system detuning (flashover), etc. The over-voltage and over-current protection value can be set according to the user's needs. The flashover protection acts when the test object flashover to protect the type of product.
2. The weight of the whole unit is very light, which is convenient for on-site use.
3. The device has three working modes, which are convenient for users to choose flexibly according to the site conditions and improve the test speed.
The working modes are: full automatic mode, manual mode, automatic tuning and manual boosting mode.
4. It can store and print data in different places. The stored data number is a number, which is convenient for users to identify and search.
5. When the device automatically sweeps the frequency, the starting point of the frequency can be set arbitrarily within the specified range. At the same time, the large LCD screen displays the scanning curve, so that the user can intuitively know whether to find the resonance point.
