Features and benefits

VOK-394 can be arranged in a directional manner on the surface of the paint film and cross-linked into the polymer network through its reactive groups.

VOK-394 is suitable for solventborne systems reacting by primary hydroxyl groups and the following binder systems: two-component polyurethane, alkyd/melamine, polyester/melamine, acrylic/melamine, acrylic/epoxy compositions. The non-polar groups of VOK-394 produce good peelability on the paint film surface. The additive improves leveling and gloss and provides a long-wave effect that avoids cratering. VOK-394 has no effect on surface tension and is a thermally stable product.

Recommended Use 

The additive is recommended for solvent-borne, solvent-free baking paints and two-component polyurethane coatings

0.2-3 % additive dosage (purchased form) is based on total formulation.
