Product Features & Benefits VOK-3900 P is a very effective leveling and anti-crater additive for particularly sensitive powder coating systems. Increased tolerance of powder coating systems to impurities during powder coating production and application ("post-wetting" effect). VOK-3900 P protects against cratering, pinholes and other surface defects in powder coatings. 

Recommended Use 

Recommended for

Powder coatings based on epoxy, polyester/epoxy, polyester, polyurethane and acrylates. It is also suitable for powder coating systems using UV curing. 

Recommended dosage 

0.5-1.5% additive dosage (form of supply) is based on total formulation. 

The above recommended dosage is for reference, and the appropriate dosage needs to be determined through a series of tests. 

Addition method and processing guidance 

The additive is mixed with resins, curing agents, pigments and other raw materials in a high-speed disperser and then extruded. The additive achieves good dispersion through the extruder, which improves the gloss and leveling of the powder coating and prevents the formation of craters, fisheyes and granulation.
