German technical background VOK®-SPECIAL leveling agent
VOK® -ETOL-SPECIAL is a silicone-containing leveling additive for solventborne systems that can be used to prevent surface defects such as cratering, orange peel, blistering, pinholes, and good leveling to prevent boiling marks.
VOK® -ETOL-SPECIAL is used in air-dried and baked synthetic resin coatings, chlorinated rubber coatings, NC modified coatings and polyurethanes.
Chemical composition: High boiling aromatics, ketones, esters and polysiloxane mixtures
Solvent: Alkylbenzene/diisobutyl ketone 5/1
Dosage: 2-5 % of total formulation dosage
