Attention matters
① Special care should be taken during use. Do not grind materials with excessive hardness and do not contact with hydrofluoric acid.
②When performing grinding operation, the mortar should be placed on an object that is not easy to slide, and the pestle should be kept vertical. Large solids can only be crushed, not mashed with a pestle, otherwise it will damage the mortar and pestle or spill the solids. Explosive substances can only be crushed lightly, not ground. When grinding substances that are corrosive to the skin, cover the mortar with a thick paper or plastic sheet, then open a hole in the center of the mortar, insert the pestle, and then grind. The amount of solids in the mortar should not exceed it. 1/3 of the volume.
③The mortar cannot be heated, and it must not be dried in an electric oven.
④ When washing the mortar, it should be rinsed with water first. The acid-resistant mortar can be washed with dilute hydrochloric acid. If difficult-to-wash substances adhere to the mortar, put a small amount of salt into the mortar, grind it and then wash it.
