potato starch processing machine includes cleaning and washing machine, crushing machine, separating and refining machine, dewatering and drying machine. For each machinery in the processing process of potato starch, we have corresponding equipment. They are dry sieve, rotary washing machine, cutting machine, rasper, centrifuge sieve, fine fiber sieve, desander, hydrocyclone, vacuum filter, flash dryer.
（1）Cleaning and washing process
After the potato is put into the feeding hopper, it is conveyed by belt conveyor to dry sieve. Dry sieve removes impurities such as dirt, sand and weeds that are attached to the potato surface. After pre-cleaning potato with dry sieve, rotary washing machine further remove the sediment and other impurities on potato surface.
（2）Crushing process
In order to make the potato fully crush, potato starch processing machine crush is divided into two steps. Firstly, the cutting machine precrushes the washed potato and cuts them into pieces. Then, the rasper crushes the potato pieces into pulp.
（3）Separating and refining process
Separation and refinement are crucial in the processing of potato starch. So in this process, the potato starch processing machine is divided into four steps. The fiber in potato pulp is separated by centrifuge sieve, the fine fiber in the potato starch pulp is removed by fine fiber sieve, the fine sand in the starch is removed by desander to ensure the quality of potato starch, and the protein and cell fluid in the potato starch milk are removed by hydrocyclone to refine and concentrate the potato starch milk.
（4）Dewatering and drying process
Starch milk is dewatered in vacuum filter. After dewatered, potato starch is formed. potato starch needs to be quickly dried in flash dryer to control the moisture content of starch more standardized. The dried potato starch is sifted through the sieving machine, and the finished potato starch is finally put into the packing machine for bagging.
